Wild Caught Abalone

IQF Abalone Meat, Fully Bled

The abalone meat is removed from the shell, in our processing factory and washed prior to being placed in chilled salt water overnight. Next morning the abalone are cleaned and inspected thoroughly before being placed individually on trays. The product is then placed in a plate freezer and left until a core temperature of -20 degrees is achieved in approximately 4-5 hours.

The abalone are then graded as follows:-

1-2 pieces per pound

2-3 pieces per pound

3-5 pieces per pound

They are glazed and then packaged in poly liners inside waxed cartons or polystyrene eskies as per customer requirements.

The abalone meat is removed from the shell, in our processing factory and washed. The abalone are cleaned and inspected thoroughly before being placed individually on trays. The product is then placed in a plate freezer and left until a core temperature of -20 degrees is achieved in approximately 4-5 hours.

Chilled Abalone Meat

The abalone meat is removed from the shell, in our processing factory and washed prior to being placed in chilled salt water overnight. Next morning the abalone are cleaned and inspected thoroughly.

They are packaged in poly liners inside polystyrene eskies.

Cooked Abalone

The abalone meat is removed from the shell, in our processing factory and washed prior to being placed in chilled salt water overnight. Next morning the abalone are inspected thoroughly before being delivered to a qualified contractor for retort processing.

The abalone are packaged according to customer requirements.

The abalone are cleaned and inspected thoroughly, in our processing factory before being placed individually on trays. The product is then placed in a plate freezer and left until a core temperature of -20 degrees is achieved in approximately 4-5 hours.

The abalone are then graded as per customer requirements, glazed and packaged in poly liners inside waxed cartons or polystyrene eskies.

Vacuum Sealed Abalone

We offer vacuum sealed frozen abalone meat, fully bled and frozen abalone in-shell. After cleaning and inspection the abalone is placed in vacuum pouches and sealed in a special vacuum packaging machine.

They are packaged in poly liners inside polystyrene eskies.
